Susan Harrington Swanson attended Valparaiso University, majoring in political science, and graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree. During her undergraduate years she became interested in law and decided to pursue a career as a paralegal. Susan attended Roosevelt University and completed the Lawyer’s Assistant Program, obtaining her paralegal certificate in Civil Litigation, Sub-Specialty Domestic Relations, with Honors.

Susan has worked in a variety of legal environments including time as a legal assistant at Hyatt Legal Services and as a legal assistant at Law Resources. Through these positions, she gained experience in Family Law, Real Estate and Wills. As a paralegal at William G. Clark, Jr. & Associates she is able to work solely on Family Law and dissolution of marriage cases, helping the firm’s clients navigate what can be a difficult process.

Recently, Susan was asked to volunteer for the Moraine Valley Community College Paralegal Advisory Committee as the College began to create its paralegal studies program. In addition to volunteering, she also enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, and taking care of her rescue dog.
